guess who's birthday it is today.....
big 3-6! the kiddies made him breakfast in bed....
then we hung out b/c it was a rainy day--dinner at cheesecake factory(the old standby)
and then he jammed at young life house.
ok, so it's been an exciting weekend...
started at the rv show (yes, this is at the show)
hi-tops and zippy put on a show...
colby looks like the wendy's girl
but he won the dance contest (against his sisters)
our second time this week at the rv show...
maybe we will be loading up soon!
BUT besides thanking God for the big guy making 36,
i am SOOOOOOOOOOOO thankful for her (see below)
no, she's not my long lost twin sister (although
we could pass for it)
she is pascale--an ex-csi photographer turned professional photographer!
took her photography workshop this weekend (for moms-and guys-who want to take better photos
of their kids but don't want to take professional classes)
so, in 4 1/2 hours, i learned almost everything on my camera AND actually understand how iso, aperture and shutter speed work together to produce perfectly exposed pictures
i will NEVER use the automatic mode on my camera again---
it's all manual, baby!
pascale is a genius and she
keeps it real and SIMPLE!
so, so excited to try out my newfound knowledge!
(and, yes, i took that photo of her after the class...)
